Account Manager (APAC)
About the Role
Evergent is searching for an extraordinary person to
manage highly complex Tier 1 media and communications accounts across APAC and
the Middle East. Successful candidates will possess a proven track record for
delivering exceptional outcomes and value for strategic accounts.
Main Responsibilities
- The
primary responsibility for the role is to ensure a high level of customer
retention and satisfaction with Evergent’s core products and team. You
will accomplish this by building trust-based relationships with key
stakeholders at existing accounts.
- Develop
and execute an account plan focused on revenue generation from existing
accounts within the region. The successful candidate is expected to build
a pipeline of new opportunities within the account base.
- Become
a trusted advisor and industry expert for your accounts, ensuring a high
level of engagement so that our customers extract the maximum possible
value from our solutions.
- Organize
and run quarterly business reviews with all accounts to review all aspects
of the engagement (i.e., ongoing operations, professional services
execution, roadmap sharing).
- Represent
Evergent proudly at all levels with partners and customers, including at
industry events and conferences.
Requirements
·
3-5+
years account/project management experience in a SaaS environment, preferably
with large M&E and/or telecom/MSO clientels, specifically dealing with
Director and C-Level executives but with the ability to forge meaningful
relationships at all levels of an organization from the working to the
executive level.

Thorough
understanding of account business strategies, drivers, goals, initiatives, pain
points and politics and translating these into account retention or upsell
opportunities.

Excellent
ability to anticipate the landscape at an account and understand how Evergent
is positioned within that account. Demonstrate excellent networking skills to
identify the right customer stakeholders and build connections quickly to
manage perceptions and ensure that Evergent is always seen in a favourable
light.

Ability
to oversee engagement progress and act as an escalation point for key customer
concerns and issues. Account Managers are expected to be on top of their
accounts and spot/fix any issues before they escalate or become bigger issues.

Maintain
a high level of communication with customers and internal stakeholders to
effectively manage expectations and build confidence. You will be seen as the
person who owns the account internally and gets things done.

Excellent
presentation and documentation skills with attention to details like visual
presentation, esthetics, spelling and grammar.

A
proven track record of identifying and qualifying upsell opportunities and
working with a cross functional team to bring them those opportunities to
closure.

Proven
ability to work in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced global company. This is not a
9 to 5 job and to be a truly great Account Manager you will need to be flexible
with your working hours and relish working under pressure.

BA/BS
in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Travel

This
role requires some travel, at times reaching 40-50%
