Evergent is looking for a successful candidate will be a strategic individual with 5+years experience serving as a sales engineer in the media and telecommunication marketplace.
This position will be based in Latin America.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Qualify prospective customers by identifying pain points that can be addressed with Evergent technology and services.
Propose technical and creative business solutions that support Evergent revenue and profit objectives.
Build strong relationships with technical and business executives at prospective customers.
Collaborate with colleagues across the organization to receive the support needed to accomplish the technical and business sales goals.
Together with sales, drive to achieve quarterly goals of new qualified prospects, 90-minute meetings and closed-won opportunities.
Collaborate with the delivery team to ensure a smooth handoff following the closing of an opportunity.
Provide real-time feedback on customer requirements and trends to product and engineering teams.
Train and provide technical support to Channel Partners (resellers and sales representatives)
Skills required & Experience
Minimum of 5 years’ experience serving as a sales engineer in the media and telecommunication marketplace
Experience presenting to senior business and technical executives, giving product demos, facilitating POCs, and handling any technical concerns or objections.
Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate at all levels within a prospect.
Experience working with prospects’ technical teams to develop joint plan to ensure smooth implementations.
Experience with SaaS technologies.
Ability to communicate effectively with both internal stakeholders and prospect executives.
Ability to collaborate across all functions and levels at Evergent; humbleness in working with internal colleagues.
Enjoy working hard, having fun and learning a lot in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
Self-starter who can work with limited direction.\
Fluent in Spanish and English; Portuguese is a plus
Bonus: Existing relationships with media and telecom executives and decision makers.
Travel:
Willing and able to travel 30% of time post-Covid19
Education & Qualification:
BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent area of study.
