Project Manager


Project Manager is in charge of oversite, planning and communications (internal and client) of technical projects. Responsible for initiating programs, following their progress, and serving as support providers in case issues arise. Coordinates efforts among internal teams and Evergent clients, as well as develop effective schedules and suggest action items that still need to be completed to successfully complete the projects. Tracking technical issues and facilitating solutions in a prompt manner. Effectively communicate project status and suggest changes to use company resources more efficiently. Project Managers propose solutions using their technical expertise and experience, as well as provide expertise for escalated quality problems, and anticipate bottlenecks in the development cycle. Additionally, they identify technical impacts on the organization as they relate to business requirements. Defines strategies, regularly participate in executive meetings to present their progress, and share project information with other professionals in their organization. Project manager must also be problem solvers with excellent leadership skills who can motivate the employees to reach all company objectives.


Job Requirements:

  • Work effectively on their own, as well as in a team setting with other managers
  • 8+ years as a Technical Program Management or Product Project Management experience in a technology oriented organization.
  • 5+ years' proven track record of successfully launching multi-dependent and complex technology products and services with geographically distributed teams in complex platform environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically when implementing products and solving problems.
  • Technically savvy and able to ramp up on technologies quickly.
  • Must be team-oriented and be able to work in a close-knit environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical individuals.
  • Individual must share a passion and commitment to the values and mission of Client and have ability to motivate teams to reach company objectives and follow cultural values.
  • Proficient in infrastructure, operations and IT data/application platform standards & technologies
  • Additional technical certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities:

 
  • Drive new products and features through the development process.
  • Create project cost estimates and communicate them to the client
  • Make sure project meets deadlines and is completed within budget.
  • Leads the continued development and implementation of the CI Culture, standardized work, information flow, problem solving, strategy deployment and continuous improvement.
  • Exercise technical judgment in working with cross-functional teams
  • Manage and execute on company audits from various sources with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide technical leadership, but not line management of cross functional teams.
  • Presents status in a weekly / monthly basis to the local and regional leadership teams.
