Solution Architect
A leading venture capitalist (VC) in Silicon Valley commented that “Evergent is a diamond in the rough”. Evergent today manages over 680M+ user accounts in over 180+ countries on behalf of our customers. Globally Evergent is working with 5 of the top 10 carriers (AT&T, Etisalat, SingTel, Telkomsel, and AirTel) and 4 of the top 10 media companies (HBO, FOX, SONY, and BBC). We are looking for a Solution Architect to join us. The Solution Architect translates requirements created by functional analysts into the architecture for that solution and describes it through architecture and design artifacts.

Responsibilities:
Acting as an Evergent Evangelist to our customers giving them industry perspective, driving them towards our solution, and expanding our product
Defining the solution, the appropriate delivery approach, and the implementation cost;
Managing technical communication flows across multiple teams;
Identify trends and changes in key product areas like payments, billing, etc., and drive the required product enhancements
Guiding in-team communication, conflict resolution, escalation when required, and final technical decisions;
Understanding product evolution in depth
Communicating directly with customers: making discoveries, presenting solutions, and determining the scope;
Reviewing onsite technical clarifications with customers, and discussing change requests and resulting timeline and scope fluctuations;
Participating in complex negotiations with customers regarding the technical scope enhancement and cost breakdown; and
Serving as the key technical point of contact for Evergent in the account.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field plus 10 years of related experience.
Demonstrate ability and openness to learn and grow
Demonstrated experience working in the telecommunications domain and delivering solutions to a telecommunications company;
Demonstrated proficiency in Solution Architecture and Integration, Requirement Analysis and System Design, and Business process reengineering;
Knowledge of customer journeys, fulfillment, and billing for several lines of businesses within telecommunication, media, and cable MSO space.
Knowledge of business process and technical capabilities for consumer, commercial (B2B), and B2B2C areas
Demonstrated software development experience in at least 3 areas from the following:
eCommerce
Billing,
CRM,
CPQ,
Product catalog,
Service Orchestration,
Provisioning/Activation,
Rating and Charging
Proven ability to work as part of a team to solve complex technical problems and work with accounts in complex environments;
Demonstrated ability to maintain a business-like presence and interact professionally with customers at all organization levels;
Demonstrated well-developed knowledge and understanding of the global telecommunications marketplace;
Proven test management skills, including involving multiple projects and priorities;
Demonstrated experience with Test Methodologies and Processes; and
Proven Vendor management and Delivery experience.
