We are looking for a Business Analyst to join us.


Responsibilities:


  • Collect, review, analyze, manage, system and user requirements from business users and translate them into user stories and associated acceptance criteria. 

  • Break down the requirements into user stories and input the tasks into a product management software. Carry the overall product vision to execution.

  • Work with the stakeholders to understand the requirements and communicate the requirements effectively to the product team.

  • Understanding of Product Management software such as JIRA.

  • Experienced in creating diagrams such as activity diagrams, flow diagrams, etc.

  • Research solutions to increase work efficiency.

  • Ability to operate in a complex environment of multiple projects and stakeholders and to participate in several projects simultaneously. 

  • Knowledge of the partner and product lifecycle process.

  • Requirements analysis such as analyzing requirements, constructing workflow charts and diagrams, studying system/product capabilities, writing specifications (process modeling, organization modeling, use cases, etc.)

  • Solution assessment and validation (support of user acceptance testing, defect and issue reporting, etc.)

  • Document detailed functional & data business requirements, process flows, use cases, training material and facilitate UAT process 

  • Work with the Dev team to clarify functional requirements and validate user acceptance criteria 

  • Primary liaison to QA team, create test scenarios, and perform UAT 

  • Ensures that delivery of project requirements meets the requirements defined by the business customer 

  • Establishes knowledge of client business challenges and priorities to translate into opportunities  

  • Maintains regular client communication and satisfaction, ensuring opportunities and challenges are addressed in a timely manner. 

  • Helps deliver presentations to clients and management teams. 

  • Contributes to project discoveries, kickoff, prepare proposals and statements of work following company standards 

  • Translate client's business needs into detailed business requirements documents, use cases and systems interaction diagrams, process flows, and other required processes. 

  • Gather, document, and analyze the output of business and data requirements using any of the following methodologies: use cases, function/non-function requirements, epics/user stories  

  • Improve systems or processes by studying current practices, identifying process improvements, and designing modifications 

  • Follow and execute against the specific business analysis requirements as defined by the business organization 

  • Helps to establish the critical path, milestones, delivery dates, and review client deliverables to ensure they meet client acceptance criteria 

  • Provides leadership throughout the lifecycles of a project, guiding the understanding the project team has through design and development to ensure project requirements are met 

  • Helps establish project test strategy, methodologies, test plans as well as assist with test execution 

  • Provide weekly status reports; monthly updates highlighting the risks in the projects/tasks 

  • Knowledge of Jira/Confluence and other ticket tracking systems 

  • Knowledge of office tools such as word, excel, Presentations.... etc. 

  • Knowledge of project management tools.



Qualifications: 

  • 5+ recent year’s experience in the Entertainment Industry, preferably within Television Distribution, Home Entertainment Distribution, and/or Finance working as a subject matter expert 

  • 5+ recent year’s experience in an agile environment with preferred experience working in a scrum tool like Jira or Pivotal Tracker 

  • Strong Functional Specifications and User Requirements Skills are a must 

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with technical and non-technical users across different levels of the organization

  • Be a self-starter, someone that can operate independently with minimal guidance 

  • Experience working in large-scale system implementations with exposure in all phases of a project (from requirements through deployment) 

  •  Evidence of business acumen to communicate effectively with business and IT in day-to-day operations and delivery of IT services 

  •  Knowledge of cross-functional understanding of the core line of business processes and value chain services (i.e. Title & Rights, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Distribution, Finance) is a big plus. 

  • Agile and Google Application experience preferred.
