Amazon Connect Development Expert
We seek a skilled Amazon Connect Development Expert with a strong background in building
and deploying cloud-based contact center solutions using AWS services. The ideal candidate
will have hands-on experience with Amazon Connect, Amazon Lex, AWS Lambda, and
Amazon Q / Bedrock and a good understanding of other AWS services for supporting real-time
and data-driven applications.
Key Responsibilities:
● Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native contact center solutions using Amazon
Connect.
● Integrate conversational AI using Amazon Lex to create intelligent IVR flows.
● Develop and manage backend logic using AWS Lambda for real-time data processing
and orchestration.
● Leverage Amazon Q or Amazon Bedrock to enhance conversational AI experiences
with generative AI capabilities.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver end-to-end
contact center solutions.
● Ensure scalability, security, and high availability of the solution using AWS best
practices.
● Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues using tools like Amazon
CloudWatch.
Mandatory Skills:
● Amazon Connect – Deep knowledge of contact flow design, routing profiles, and
integrations.
● Amazon Lex – Experience in building and deploying chatbots for voice and chat
interfaces.
● AWS Lambda – Proficient in writing serverless functions (Node.js, Python, or similar).
● Amazon Q / Amazon Bedrock – Experience in integrating generative AI into customer
support workflows.
● Proficiency in Node.js or Python.
Good to Have Skills:
● Amazon DynamoDB – Working knowledge of NoSQL data modeling and querying.
● Amazon S3 – Familiarity with data storage and management for call recordings and
logs.
● Amazon CloudWatch – Experience in monitoring, logging, and setting up alerts.
● AWS Secrets Manager – Managing secure access to APIs and backend services.
● Amazon Kinesis – Real-time data streaming and analytics for contact center data.
● Amazon EventBridge – Event-driven application design and service integrations.
● Amazon API Gateway – Building and managing secure APIs for external integration.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent
experience).
● Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience with Amazon Connect and associated AWS
services.
● AWS Certification(s) (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect)
is a plus.
